Sindh Government forms Task Force for Karachi’s Beautification and Development

KARACHI, March 26,2025- The Sindh government has announced the formation of a Task Force to oversee projects aimed at enhancing Karachi’s beautification and development.

According to the Sindh Chief Secretary’s spokesperson, Karachi Mayor has been appointed as the Chairman of the Task Force. Additionally, the Commissioner of Karachi and other officials will also be part of the committee.

Key Responsibilities of the Task Force willto supervise Restoration, cleanliness, and beautification of major highways, Removal of encroachments and illegal parking, Resolution of sewage-related issues and Focus Roads for Development
The spokesperson highlighted that improvement projects will be carried out on key roads, including Shahrah-e-Faisal, Shahrah-e-Quaideen, Sher Shah Suri Road, Abdullah Haroon Road and I.I. Chundrigar Road.

The Sindh government has instructed all relevant departments to fully cooperate with the Task Force to ensure the success of these development initiatives.

This move aims to revitalize Karachi’s infrastructure and improve the city’s overall aesthetics and functionality.
