KARACHI, March 19,2025- The second follow-up meeting of the Ombudsman Sindh Ambassadors Program was held on March 19, 2025, under the chairmanship of Provincial Ombudsman Sindh Mohammad Sohail Rajput.

During the meeting, the student ambassadors shared their experiences as part of the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh Ambassadors Program and presented several recommendations to improve public awareness and engagement with the office. They emphasized the need for a comprehensive awareness campaign using media, social media, and other platforms to inform citizens about the services provided by the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh.

The meeting, attended by key officials including Secretary Mansoor Abbas Rizvi, Director General Akhtar Hussain Bugti, Registrar Masood Ishrat, and Advisor Rehana G. Memon, also included student ambassadors from Saleem Habib University, Karachi.

The ambassadors proposed modernizing the office’s social media platforms and official website to ensure they are regularly updated and user-friendly. They also suggested appointing community ombudsmen and setting up awareness stalls at university exhibitions and expo centers to reach a broader audience.

Provincial Ombudsman Sindh Mohammad Sohail Rajput praised the student ambassadors for their insightful suggestions and assured them that their recommendations would be taken into consideration. He also presented certificates of appreciation and honorary identity cards to the students, offering them internships at the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh office as a token of recognition.

The meeting underscored the commitment of the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh Ambassadors Program to engaging youth and enhancing public access to the office’s services through innovative and inclusive initiatives.
