Restoring beauty of Karachi Part of Bilawal’s Vision, Says Sindh Minister

KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has said that restoring beauty of Karachi, upgrading infrastructure, and improving public facilities are central to Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s vision for the city.

He made these remarks during a meeting with Chairman Kiamari Town Humayoon Khan at Ali House on Saturday. The discussion focused on political matters and both ongoing and upcoming development projects in Karachi.

Shah highlighted that roads, streets, and the drainage system were being modernised, while parks and recreational spaces were also being restored. He added that key projects in mass transit, sewerage, clean drinking water, and solid waste management were being expedited to enhance citizens’ quality of life.

“Karachi is Pakistan’s economic hub, attracting millions from across the country in search of livelihood. Ensuring the development of Karachi means ensuring the development of Pakistan,” he stressed.
