Reception Held to Honour Merit-Based Government Job Achievers in Pano Akil

Pano Akil, June 29 — A prestigious reception ceremony was held on Sunday at Awami House, Dildar Samejo, to honour young achievers who secured government jobs through merit-based competitive examinations such as IBA, NTS, and STS. The event was a joint effort by Union Council Nouraja and the Awami Foundation.

The ceremony was presided over by Union Council Chairman Peer Bakhsh Mehr and attended by a diverse group of community leaders, intellectuals, and political figures. Key guests included UC Secretary Zulfiqar Mehr, renowned poet and writer Paryal Dayo, PPP leader Iran Khan Samejo, former Director of Education Mujtaba Dayo, Deputy Director Information & Patron Awami Foundation Sarwar Samejo, and Chairman Sarwan Samejo.

Other notable attendees were journalist Barkat Jhandir, Vice Chairman Nadeem Khan Samejo, and community figures such as Ali Owais, Arbelo, Tofeeq, Shoaib Manghi, Atta Muhammad, Naveed Hassan, Engr. Mir Muhammad Samejo, Jam Makhan, Nawaz Samejo, Sajjad Manghi, and Farhat Samejo.

Speakers at the event commended the youth for their dedication and success, emphasizing the critical role of meritocracy and education in shaping the region’s future.

“The current government under PPP has made valuable reforms by introducing merit in public recruitment—encouraging transparency and trust,” said one speaker.
