Rana Sanaullah says no objection if courts release PTI founder
Islamabad March 20,2025- Rana Sanaullah, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs, stated that the government has no objection if the courts decide to release the founder of PTI – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
Speaking during an interview on Geo News’ program Geo Pakistan, Rana Sanaullah clarified that the PTI founder is currently in jail due to ongoing legal cases. He emphasized that the PTI founder could seek bail from the High Court or the Supreme Court.
Rana Sanaullah also discussed the recent National Security Committee (NSC) meeting, highlighting the need to strengthen the police and Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Ali Amin Gandapur’s jurisdiction.
He further revealed that intelligence-based operations are actively ongoing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and have not stopped. “These operations will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated,” he asserted.
The PM’s adviser reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring national security and eradicating terrorism across the country.
