Proposal to make Small vehicles cheaper
Auto financing in Pakistan rises to Rs249 billion as lower interest rates and new car variants boost demand. Experts predict continued growth in vehicle sales.
ISLAMABAD (June 11, 2021): There is a proposal to make Small vehicles cheaper in the new budget.
The federal budget is being presented today. Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin will present the budget of an outlay of Rs 8,000 billion.
According to sources, the budget has proposed to reduce taxes on vehicles smaller than 850 cc.
A proposal to reduce sales tax, excise duty and additional customs duty on small vehicles is also under consideration.
In addition, it is proposed to reduce taxes on various brands of new motorcycles, while it is also proposed to reduce taxes on new models of tractors.
