Prime Minister Kakar Affirms Pakistan's Support for Kashmiris
MUZAFFARABAD, Dec 142023 :Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq and Speaker AJK Legislative Assembly Chaudhry Lateef Akbar on Thursday met with Caretaker Prime Minster Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar here at the Speaker Chamber.
Prime Minister AJK welcomed PM Kakar on his arrival in Kashmir and thanked him for expressing solidarity with the people of Jammu and Kashmir after the decision of the Indian Supreme Court.
PM Kakar said hearts of all Pakistanis beat with their Kashmiri brothers and sisters.
“The struggle of the Kashmiris for their freedom will not be shaken after the Indian illegal actions, but will further strengthen”, the prime minister remarked.
Azad Jammu and Kashmir Visit:
Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar visits Azad Jammu and Kashmir today, reinforcing Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the Kashmiri people. In a powerful address at the Legislative Assembly, he vehemently rejects India’s Supreme Court verdict on the status of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), emphasizing the international dispute nature and calling for adherence to UN Security Council Resolutions.
Terrorist Attack Condemnation:
Pakistan acknowledges international support following the recent terrorist attack on its security forces. UN Security Council strongly condemns the attack, urging accountability for perpetrators affiliated with Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). Pakistan expects Afghanistan to take concrete actions against those responsible and prevent the use of its soil for terrorism.
UN General Assembly Resolution on Gaza:
Pakistan welcomes the UN General Assembly’s resolution demanding an immediate humanitarian ceasefire and access to Gaza. The resolution reflects global concern over Israeli atrocities in Palestine.
