PML-N unveils priority list for minority seats in National Assembly
Muslim League-N announces election campaign meetings
LAHORE, Dec 25,2023: Ahead of the upcoming National Assembly elections, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has issued its priority list for minority seats. The decision was approved by the party’s leader, Nawaz Sharif, and its President, Shahbaz Sharif.
The official submission of the priority list, containing names of 10 members from minority communities, was made to the Election Commission by the PML-N. Former Member of the National Assembly, Kheal Das Kohistani, occupies the top spot in the list. Kohistani, a seasoned politician and a previous PML-N parliamentarian, brings a wealth of experience to the forefront.
Other notable figures included in the priority list are Dr. Darshan Lal, Dr. Nelson Azim, and Isfandiar Bhandara, each bringing their unique perspectives and expertise to the table.
The PML-N has also given due consideration to representation from various regions, including Umarkot in Sindh. The list includes Neelam, Dr. Tariq Javed, Jagdish Chand, Aamir Javed, Anita Irfan, and Sardar Darshan Singh. This diverse selection reflects the party’s commitment to inclusivity and ensuring that minority voices are heard and represented in the National Assembly.
