Actress Alizeh Shah, who had already bid farewell to digital platforms due to criticism and trolling on social media, made a shocking revelation that parents are being called and asked if I am dead.
Alizeh Shah had deleted pictures from her Instagram account a few days ago and said goodbye to social media.
The 24-year-old actress shared a new Instagram story in which she opened up to her fans about her latest struggles. Alizeh Shah said, “Trolling, constant criticism, and negative behaviour are now affecting me not just emotionally but physically as well. All of this has pushed me to a point where I have isolated myself not only from social media but also from people around me.”
The actress expressed, “I feel so broken that I can’t even put it into words.”
She further wrote, “After leaving social media, I even updated my bio, clearly stating that I am alive. Yet, some news channels are calling my parents and asking if I’ve died.” The actress said, “Just imagine how painful this is for me and my mother.”
Alizeh Shah revealed, “Right now, I don’t know when or if I’ll return to Instagram or the drama industry. The pressure on me has become too much.”
At the end of her recent Instagram story, the actress pleaded, “I request everyone to respect my privacy and stop calling my parents. Please stop spreading rumours and let me breathe.”
