New Chairpersons Appointed for Sindh Education Boards | Take Charge Immediately

Following the decision of Sindh High Court, the Sindh Boards & Universities Department has directed the newly appointed chairpersons for Sindh Education Boards to take charge immediately by Thursday to prevent any further stay orders from the courts. The Sindh High Court has dismissed constitutional petitions challenging the appointments of new chairpersons for all eight educational boards in Sindh.

Here are the newly recommended chairpersons for Sindh’s educational boards:

Board of Intermediate Education Karachi: Muhammad Misbah Tunio (Retired bureaucrat)

Karachi Board of Secondary Education (Matric Board): Ghulam Hussain Soh0 (Brother of a provincial secretary)

Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE): Musharraf Ali Rajput (District Education Officer, Central)

Hyderabad Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education: Dr. Rafique Ahmed Chandio (professor, University of Sindh)

Nawabshah Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education: Dr. Asif Ali Memon (Professor, Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering)

Mirpurkhas Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education:  Mansoor Rajput (Retired Additional Provincial Secretary)

Sukkur Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education: Prof. Zahid Hussain Chand (Sindh Madrasa)

Larkana Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education: Khalid Hussain Mehar (Director, Higher Education Commission)

Reason for Immediate Charge Transfer
The move comes after the Sindh High Court rejected petitions challenging the appointments. Authorities have instructed the new chairpersons to take charge before the outgoing chairpersons obtain any further restraining orders.

This decision aims to ensure smooth administrative transitions in Sindh’s education boards ahead of upcoming academic and examination schedules.
