Mustafa Amir murder case: Kamran Asghar Qureshi arrested
Karachi – In a major breakthrough in the Mustafa Amir murder case, authorities arrested Kamran Asghar Qureshi, father of prime suspect Armghan, during a raid at his residence in Khayaban-e-Momin, DHA Karachi.
According to SSP AVCC Anil Haider, drugs and illegal weapons were recovered from the suspect’s possession. A case has been registered against Kamran Asghar Qureshi, and further investigation is underway.
SSP AVCC revealed that 200 grams of ice (methamphetamine), a 9mm pistol, and bullets were seized during the operation. This arrest marks a critical development in the high-profile Mustafa Amir murder case.
Earlier, on March 18, Armghan, the main accused, expressed his intention to confess before the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Karachi. Following this, the ATC extended Armghan’s physical remand until March 24 in connection with the abduction and murder of Mustafa Amir.
The recovery of drugs and illegal weapons has added a new dimension to the case, underscoring the involvement of criminal elements. Authorities are intensifying efforts to uncover the full scope of the crime and ensure justice for Mustafa Amir.
