Governor Sindh Declares No Mercy for Terrorists
Karachi, March 5, 2025 — Governor Sindh, Kamran Khan Tissori, emphasized that “no mercy for terrorists,” as he condemned the recent attempt by militants to disrupt peace in the region. Speaking at the fourth Iftar event held at the Governor House, Tissori commended the bravery of soldiers who successfully thwarted the terrorist attack, ensuring the safety of citizens.
“These terrorists are not Muslims,” Tissori asserted, adding, “True Muslims do not target unarmed children, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.” His remarks came in the wake of the failed attack, which the security forces swiftly neutralized.
The Iftar event was marked not only by the solemn observance of Ramadan but also by a lottery held for two residential plots. Among the winners, Nadia Iqbal, a resident of Allahwala Town, was awarded a 120-yard plot in the second draw. Muhammad Ayaz, who participated in the first draw, expressed disappointment, revealing that his name was not drawn. However, he expressed optimism for future opportunities.
The Governor’s office remains focused on promoting peace and unity across Sindh, reaffirming its commitment to combat terrorism and ensure the safety of all citizens.
