Google Digital Skills Scholarships: 30,000 Youth to Benefit from Govt-Google Partnership

KARACHI, March 24,2025- To empower youth with globally recognised digital skills, the Sindh government, in collaboration with Google and Tech Valley, has announced more than 30,000 Google Career Certificates scholarships for public sector universities across the province. The program aims to equip youth with globally recognized certifications in high-demand fields like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cybersecurity, Digital Marketing, IT Automation, and Project Management.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah emphasized the program’s role in transforming Sindh into a hub of innovation and digital skills. Following the success of the 2024 pilot program, where 1,500 students achieved a 100% success rate, the expanded initiative reinforces the government’s commitment to workforce development and economic prosperity.

Success Stories & Career Opportunities
Graduates from previous cohorts secured jobs and internships with salaries ranging from Rs 70,000 to Rs 1.6 million per month. One notable success story is Leena Kumari from the University of Sindh, Jamshoro, who completed the Google AI Essentials course and landed an internship at Evolution.
