Fire erupts in Karachi Mobile Market, causes massive losses 

KARACHI, Dec 26,2023: In a devastating incident, the Saddar Mobile Market in Karachi faced a catastrophic fire, resulting in losses amounting to millions of rupees. Chairman of the Electronics Dealers Association, Minhaj Gulfam, revealed the extent of the damage caused by the fire that engulfed Shahjahan Market, Bismillah Market, and the adjacent areas.

Speaking to the media in Karachi, Gulfam highlighted the challenges faced by the firefighting efforts, citing the narrow streets in the market that contributed to the rapid spread of the flames. The congested layout of shops further intensified the situation, making it difficult for firefighters to contain the blaze effectively.

Fire brigade officials mobilized a significant response, deploying 10 vehicles to bring the mobile mall fire under control. As of now, the cooling process is underway to prevent any potential flare-ups.
