Bilawal Bhutto vows victory in Lahore: Calls on PTI to repent for reconciliation

SUKKUR Dec 29,2023: Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has vowed the party’s determination  to win elections from Lahore, emphasizing the importance of giving the people of Lahore a genuine choice.

Addressing a press conference at Muhammad Bakhsh Mahar’s residence in Sukkur, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed concern for the neglected state of the poor in Lahore and asserted the party’s commitment to compete in the region, aiming to secure victory. He vehemently opposed the imposition of external influences on Punjab, stressing the need for the Election Commission to promptly remove members of the Muslim League (N) family from the government.

In a strong statement, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari called on the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to repent, only then can be considered for reconciliation. He urged the leadership of PTI to acknowledge its mistakes and seek forgiveness from the public. The PPP Chairman emphasized the significance of a transparent and accountable political process, urging all political parties to engage in fair competition.

Highlighting the recent demonstration of widespread support for the Pakistan People’s Party in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh on December 27, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed confidence in the party’s popularity. The substantial participation of people, according to him, serves as a testament to the public’s allegiance to the PPP.
