Bilawal Bhutto inspects houses for flood-affected in Larkana
LARKANA: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari visited newly constructed houses for flood-affected villagers in Larkana on Sunday under the Sindh People’s Housing for Flood Affectees (SPHF) program.
During his visit to Allah Warrayo Solangi village in Naudero, officials briefed him on the progress, revealing that 88 out of 224 homes have been completed so far. Bilawal interacted with displaced families, particularly women, assuring them that ownership rights would be transferred after Eid—preferably to female heads of households.
The PPP chairman also inspected housing projects in Soni Faqirani village (Rato Dero), where 24 out of 32 houses have been built. He personally handed over land ownership documents to four flood-impacted women, emphasizing that these homes would serve as generational assets for the beneficiaries.
Bilawal reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting flood victims and ensuring sustainable rehabilitation.
