Livestock Minister Malikani Takes Notice of Audit 2024-25 Report Deficiencies
KARACHI: Provincial Minister for Livestock and Fisheries, Muhammad Ali Malikani, has taken notice of the negligence/shortcomings highlighted in the Audit Report 2024-25 and directed the Secretary of Livestock and Fisheries to issue a displeasure notice to the concerned wing officials.
In his directives to the department, Minister Malikani expressed dissatisfaction with the performance of the Livestock and Fisheries Department, instructing officials to promptly address the audit discrepancies. He emphasized strengthening the monitoring system to prevent such lapses in the future.
The minister ordered relevant offices to implement proposed measures within the next ten days to ensure the effective utilization of public resources. He stressed the need for transparency and accuracy in the department’s financial and administrative affairs, calling for complete and correct accounting details.
“Rectifying any shortcomings or deficiencies at the earliest is a fundamental responsibility,” Malikani stated. He added that ensuring the efficient use of government resources, maintaining public trust, and upholding the department’s reputation are key pillars of success.
The minister urged officials to perform their duties with honesty, transparency, and integrity, stating that credibility and public confidence pave the way for institutional progress and service delivery.
Malikani also directed the timely completion of development projects and emphasized the need for promoting transparency and accountability. Additionally, he instructed authorities to expedite the establishment of the Vaccine Registration Authority to streamline immunization processes and combat potential epidemic diseases effectively.
