Four Levies Personnel Martyred in Armed Attack on Check Post in Khuzdar
Khuzdar, Balochistan – Four Levies personnel were martyred in a late-night armed attack on their check post in the Nasl area of Khuzdar district on Friday, officials confirmed.
The assault targeted the Sanand Levies check post along the CPEC Road, a strategically significant route. A senior Levies officer told Dawn that all four personnel stationed at the post were killed in the attack.
The deceased have been identified as Maqbool, Khuda Bakhsh, Ejaz Ahmed, and Muhammad Ali. Their bodies were moved to Khuzdar Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
No Immediate Claim of Responsibility
No militant group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, with security forces conducting search operations in the area. (Monitoring Desk)
