Islamabad, March 26,2025- Senator Rubina Khalid, Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), visited the Federal Directorate of Immunization (FDI) today to discuss enhanced collaboration between the two institutions.
Strengthening Monitoring Systems
During the meeting, Senator Rubina Khalid emphasized the need for a joint dashboard monitoring system for the Nashouma Programme, ensuring efficient service delivery. She highlighted ongoing upgrades to BISP’s Management Information System (MIS) and urged both institutions to collaborate on best practices for beneficiary support.
Tour of FDI’s Control Room
The BISP Chairperson also visited FDI’s control room, where officials briefed her on the Vaccination Inventory Management System (VIMS) and the National Electronic Immunization Registry (NEIR) dashboard. She commended FDI’s advanced monitoring tools and expressed interest in developing a similar real-time tracking system for the Nashouma Programme.
Commitment to Collaborative Efforts
DG FDI Shabana Saleem assured full support for the partnership, pledging technical cooperation to enhance BISP’s monitoring capabilities. Both leaders agreed to accelerate joint efforts in creating a robust digital system for better programme management.
