Cipher case: Imran Khan, Shah Mehmood granted bail

ISLAMABAD, Dec 22,2023: The Supreme Court of Pakistan granted bail to PTI founders Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi in the cipher case.

The Supreme Court has granted bail to PTI founder Shah Mehmood on a bond of Rs 10 lakh each.

Earlier during the hearing, Acting Chief Justice of Pakistan Sardar Tariq Masood has said in his remarks that the Foreign Minister trapped the founder of PTI, Shah Mehmood himself escaped and asked the founder of PTI to read the cipher.

A 3-member bench headed by Acting Chief Justice of Pakistan Sardar Tariq Masood conducted the hearing.

Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Athar Minullah are part of the bench.
