Gutka dealer holds ASP held hostage in Tando Muhammad Khan
Jamshoro police have filed an FIR against 100 Sindh University students, including nationalist activists, over a March 4 protest against the six-canal project.
The accused took the police team hostage when police raided the godown of Main Puri and Gatka in Tando Muhammad Khan.
A heavy contingent of police was called to rescue the police raiding team.
According to reports, after negotiations between SSP Tando Muhammad Khan, Abdullah Memon and the accused, the hostages were handed over to the police.
Among the hostages were ASP Cantt Alina Rajpar and other police officers. Five police officials, including ASP were also injured in the attack by the accused.
